Our Diversity Policy

The intent of this policy document is to ensure that diversity is explicitly integrated into the governance of the Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS), as well as the 17th World Congress of Intensive and Critical Care (WCICC2025). In addition, this policy aims to ensure that our processes are transparent, visible, and yield measurable outcomes.

Our Code of Conduct Policy

The Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS) and 17th World Congress of Intensive and Critical Care (WCICC2025) is committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, national or ethnic origin, or other characteristics. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior and the consequences of unacceptable behavior. In the context of meetings that we host/co-host, we expect all attendees, media, speakers, volunteers, organizers, venue staff, and exhibitors to help us to ensure a safe and positive conference experience for all who attend our meetings and events. Outside of these meetings, we also expect our members to model the same behavior as when attending CCCS related activities.
